The D-2 Stalker is a self
contained complete personal concealment system which can be utilized in four
distinctly different options. These four options (High Mobility, Low
Mobility, Low Crawl & off of the body as a Fixed Blind) provides the user
with varying levels of concealment based on the mission and/or terrain. The
effectiveness of the system comes primarily from the design, which
significantly reduces the form of the human silhouette.
The Stalker is built into an integral fanny pack which
weighs just over two pounds and can be deployed in under two minutes. It is
large enough to cover the user with a backpack and long gun, and can conceal
a position when off of the body.
The design of the system allows it to be “one size
fits all”. “J” clips are sewn onto the belt of the fanny pack which marry up
with “D” rings which run down the front of the thigh. Should a shorter user
deploy the system they simply adjust the length of the leg with the hooks
and rings. Suspenders are also sewn into the system to hold the material up
on the upper torso.
